Angular contact ball bearing is a type of bearing that can withstand a large one-way axial load. The connection line between the steel ball and the bearing's contact point of the inner and outer rings forms an angle with the radial direction. The contact angles are generally divided into three categories: 15°, 30°, and 40°, represented by the letters C, A, and B, respectively. The greater the contact angle, the greater the load capacity.
The size of the angular contact bearing can be customized in the range of 30mm to 150mm. The bearing is made from either bearing steel or stainless steel, and its grade can be p5, p4, p2, or p0. The cage of the bearing can be made from different materials, including nylon, brass, stamped steel or bakelite. The model of the bearing is optional and can be either C, A or B.
The cage material is selected based on the bearing's form or use conditions. Steel, brass or engineering plastic can be used. The molding method used to create the cage is either stamping or turning.
Angular contact ball bearings include combined angular contact ball bearings, double row angular contact ball bearings, and four-point contact ball bearings. Angular contact bearings are commonly used in industrial machinery, such as machine tool spindles, electromechanical equipment, welding machines and other mechanical equipment.

The angle of the contact between the balls and the raceway allows for the effective handling of both radial and axial forces. This makes them incredibly suitable for high-speed operations that demand responsive handling of both types of forces.
Compared to standard deep groove bearings, bearings with Angular Contact Design can support heavier loads, which enhances performance in demanding environments. They are the ideal choice for machines that need to handle significant weight without compromising on speed or accuracy.
Bearings with Angular Contact Design have been used in a wide range of applications such as machinery, automotive components, aerospace, and precision equipment such as spindles, gearboxes, and turbine generators. This versatility ensures that they can handle a wide range of tasks optimally.
Bearings with Angular Contact Design are made from high-quality steel or ceramic materials which provide superior wear resistance, durability, and performance. They are also available with different lubricants like grease or oil that optimizes friction reduction and thermal performance.
Offered with different cage designs (metal or nylon), they facilitate smooth operation, reduced friction, and lower noise levels. This enables them to function quietly without adding to the noise pollution of the environment.
Bearings with Angular Contact Design are available in various contact angles like 15°, 25°, 40°. This allows for customization to specific load characteristics and operational conditions, increasing efficiency and accuracy while reducing the possibility of damage to the equipment.
Bearings with Angular Contact Design can be offered with various sealing types like open, shielded, or sealed. This provides protection against contaminants and prolongs bearing life, thus reducing maintenance costs and increasing efficiency.
